Honors and Awards

“Christian achievers for God and country”. This has been the rallying slogan of Lasallian institutions over the years. The same guidepost is adopted by the DLSDAAI in its criteria for conferring the recognition for outstanding alumni in different fields.



ALUMNI AWARDS CRITERIA AND GUIDELINES 

The search is open to all bona fide members of the DLSDAAI (graduates of the former Emilio Aguinaldo College 1979-1987 and DLSU-Dasmariñas 1988 onwards) who demonstrated excellence in their chosen career and whose outstanding contribution to the University, community or nation brought extraordinary credit to the University and the Association.


Levels of Achievement:

  • DLSU-D Outstanding Alumnus/Alumna Award
  • DLSU-D Alumni Professional Achievement Award
  • DLSU-D Young Patriot Award
  • DLSU-D Alumni Service Award


The DLSU-D Outstanding Alumnus/Alumna Award

This award is granted to alumni who attained extraordinary distinction and success in their field of endeavor, whose achievements have brought credit to De La Salle University-Dasmariñas and benefit to the community or nation.

 Point of Distinction:

  1. Career accomplishments
  2. Professional Impact
  3. National and international distinction
  4. Service to community/humanity
  5. Membership in the Alumni Association

Eligibility:

  • Must be a bona fide alumnus/alumna of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas
  • Must have achieved extraordinary distinction and success in his/her field of endeavor
  • Must have received national or international distinction
  • Must have achievements that brought credit to De La Salle University-Dasmariñas
  • Must have records of leadership and service to the community
  • Must not have pending case or been convicted with any criminal offense

Conditions:

  • Incumbent Board members and DLSDAAI staff are not eligible to nominate and/or be nominated.

Frequency of Award:

  • This award may be given annually during the Grand Alumni Homecoming.

Nominations

  • Nominations may be made by an individual or organization and must be submitted to the Alumni office with the following documents:
  • Completed nomination form
  • Supporting documents
  • At least two Letters of recommendation (include contact information)
  • Resume (optional)


The DLSU-D Alumni Professional Achievement Award

This award is granted to alumni who attained extraordinary distinction and success in their field of endeavor. A record of notable career accomplishments and outstanding contributions to their profession distinguishes the recipient from all the rest.

  3. National and international distinction
  4. Community service
  5. Membership in the Alumni Association

Eligibility:

  • Must be a bona fide alumnus/a of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas
  • Must have achieved an high level of success in his/her field of endeavor
  • Must have attained recognition in the field.
  • Must have achievements that brought credit to De La Salle University-Dasmariñas
  • Must not have pending case or been convicted of any criminal offense

Conditions:

  • Incumbent Board members and DLSDAAI staff are not eligible to nominate and/or be nominated.

Frequency of Award:

  • This award may be given annually during the Grand Alumni Homecoming.

 Nominations

  • Nominations may be made by an individual or organization and must be submitted to the alumni office with the following documents:

  • At least two Letters of Recommendation (include contact information)
  • Resume (optional)


The DLSU-D Young Patriot Award

This award is granted to alumni aged 35 or younger at the time of nomination for their significant accomplishments in business or career or for service to humanity.


Point of Distinction:

  1. Career/Business accomplishments/Service to community/humanity
  2. Professional/Service Impact/Awards
  3. Membership in the Alumni Association

Eligibility:

  • Must be a bona fide alumnus/alumna of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas
  • Must have achieved a marked level of success in his/her field of endeavor
  • Must have achievements that brought credit to De La Salle University-Dasmariñas
  • Must be 35 years old or younger at the time of conferment.
  • Must not have pending case or been convicted with any criminal offense

Conditions:

  • Incumbent Board members and DLSDAAI staff are not eligible to nominate and/or be nominated.

Frequency of Award:

  • This award may be given annually during the Grand Alumni Homecoming.

Nominations

  • Nominations may be made by an individual or organization and must be submitted to the alumni office with the following documents:

The DLSU-D Alumni Service Award

The award is granted to alumni for their exceptional service and or leadership to De La Salle University-Dasmariñas or the Association. The award recognizes individuals or organizations who shared their significant time, talent, or resources to the University or the Association over an extended period of time.

 

Point of Distinction:

  1. Meritorious service to the University or Association
  2. Awards received
  3. Membership in the Alumni Association

Eligibility:

  • Must be a bona fide alumnus/a of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas
  • Must have at least seven years of uninterrupted service to the Association or University
  • Must have significant contributions to the development of the University and/or Association
  • Must not have pending case or been convicted with any criminal offense

Conditions:

  • Incumbent board members and DLSDAAI staff are not eligible to nominate and/or be nominated.

Frequency of Award:

  • This award may be given annually during the Grand Alumni Homecoming.
